Favorite Ride: One of my favorite rides is about a 20 mile loop (ride it 3 times or more) on Block Island, which is 13 miles off the coast of Rhode Island. The Island wide speed limit is 25 mph. On the flats & descents we're faster than the locals, taxi's & rental scooters. Johnathan can chase down the scooters on the climbs. It is a rolling to hilly Island shaped like a pork chop, including a 1 mile climb from Old Harbor up to the Airport. They used to have a three day stage race out on the island.

My Commute: Short fast sprint to work and taking a different longer way home. 2010 Cap City Cross - Finished 2nd over all for the Cat.1-3 Masters 45+. 2011 Cap City Cross - Finished 3rd over all for the Cat.1-3 Masters 40+ field.

Wed 5/23 21 miles 73 min The clouds moved on to show a beautiful blue sky. Had to take advantage of the break in the weather...before work. 
Tue 5/22 17 miles 60 min Kept it close to home, between the Lady Ms Deb not feeling well & the next round of storms that are rolling in.Threw in a couple of efforts. 
Mon 5/21 6 miles 24 min Nice and easy this morning. Tired legs just need a quick spin before the start of my day.

Sun 5/20 29 miles 1.8 hr Long commute home right at sunset. Trying to make up for a crappy week of weather. Tired legs on the way home from work.... 
Sun 5/20 34 miles 2.2 hr Commute to work and Sunday morning shop ride. Fun with a little spice here and there. 
Sat 5/19 26 miles 86 min Morning Ride to work so I could get caught in the rain.....the long way. 
Fri 5/18 16 miles 45 min The rain finally stopped, but I still kept it close to home with the skies looking like more rain was possible. 
Thu 5/17 22 miles 78 min Nice ride with Tom, of "Tom & Debbie." Weird ENE wind and we finished in the rain.
