It was a very cool day (only low 50's) with light but very deceptive wind. Somehow I managed to keep the speed up break 30min for the first time in a number of years. I still had some disappointment though because I missed 4th by only 1.5 seconds and third by only 13 seconds.
On a more somber note this event was renamed this year to the Rick Gorzynski Memorial Time Trial. Rick wasn't known around these parts but he was a figure head in cycling in North-Western PA for the last 20 years. Sadly Rick passed away this winter from pancreatic cancer. He was a good friend, a great rider and wil be missed by all.
