A bit of a struggle with winds and humidity at Alum Creek. The headwind and rollers on the second half of the bike leg in the Olympic distance made it tough to get up to speed and the humidity took its toll on the run. Still managed a second overall and first in the age group.

Second olympic distance race of the season. Swim course was long and the weather was humid, which made the run painful. Significant headwind made the bike a bit of a struggle riding into the wind and a couple of the major intersections were unmonitored which was a little dicey. All in all 2.5 hours of suffering for an age-group win, 9th overall.
